ENE MENE BU - and it's your turn is a television program on the topic of handicrafts for preschool children that has been broadcast on KiKA since 2011 . In 2016 the format was awarded the Grimme Prize .

ENE MENE BU shows children painting, doing handicrafts and creative design. The program is not moderated, but only accompanied by comments from the children. Some of the handicrafts are shown moving in mixed real film and animation sequences. In addition, viewers are encouraged to actively participate in the program, for example by sending in their handicrafts. A selection of the objects sent in is then presented, some of which are also animated, in a virtual museum in the program and on the Internet.

A handicraft book accompanying the shipment with the title Ene Mene Bu - The Handicraft Book: Paint, Cut, Tear, Crumple was published in 2015.
