Energoprojekt Holding was founded in 1951. Initially planned as a consulting company , it has progressively diversified its activities. Today it has more than 40 branches and joint ventures in Serbia and abroad.

The company has carried out numerous important projects in the hydroelectric field (dams, hydropower plants, irrigation, drainage), such as the headquarters of Đerdap I near Kladovo or the dam and power station of Bajina Bašta . Energoprojekt Holding has also built thermal power plants . For example, two power plants were built in Qatar outside of Serbia . In Belgrade, the architecture of the Belgrade Arena , the Hotel Hyatt Regency and the Yu Business Center come from them.
