Enfidha ( Arabic النفيضة, DMG an-Nfīḍa or Dar-el-Bey , دار البي) is a city in northeastern Tunisia with a population of around 10,000.
location
The city is located on the railway line between Tunis and Sousse , about 45 km northwest of Sousse and a few kilometers inland from the Gulf of Hammamet .
It is also about eight kilometers south of Henshir Fraga , the old Uppenna , where the ruins of a large fortress and a church can be seen.
economy
The nearby Enfidha-Hammamet Airport , the fourth largest airport in the country, was completed in 2009 and was designed by the German architect Stephan Martini , among others .
