Engelbert Lorenz Fischer (born October 12, 1845 in Aschaffenburg , † January 17, 1923 in Würzburg ) was a German Catholic theologian, philosopher and author.

Life

Engelbert Lorenz Fischer was born in Aschaffenburg. Fischer studied theology at the University of Würzburg . In 1875 he completed his studies with a doctorate in philosophy. After that he was pastor in Oberdürrbach and from 1893 city pastor at St. Gertraud in Würzburg. Fischer wrote a variety of philosophical and theological works.
