The Enger Bruch is a nature reserve with a size of 55 hectares in the town of Enger, which belongs to the Herford district . It is carried with the number HF-001.

It is traversed by the Brandbach called “Bolldammbach” in Enger and has a size of 55 hectares, of which around half are owned by the state. Large areas of the lowland area and its green spaces are often flooded. The vulnerable flora refers to the encountered large sedge Riede , copses , rich meadows and pastures, ponds, Hochstaudenfluren , ditches, reed areas and rear areas. The grassland areas provide a valuable habitat for numerous meadow and wading birds , amphibians , dragonflies and butterflies . The break is of outstanding importance for the bird world in the Ravensberger Land .
