Enorm (own spelling: enormous ) is a German business magazine that is published by Social Publish Verlag in Hamburg and sees itself as a magazine for social change .

content

The magazine covers topics from the areas of social entrepreneurship , corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable and ecological management. In this context, it deals with economic models, companies and people.

history

Five people founded the medium. The journalist Thomas Friemel (formerly editor-in-chief) and the publishing clerk Alexander Dorn presented their ideas for a specialist journal in the field of social business at the Genisis Institute, which is headed by Peter Spiegel . Shortly before, the two designers Carsten Hermann-Hehl and Markus Artur Fuchs presented their ideas for a public magazine in the field of sustainability to this institute. Spiegel brought the two teams together with the social entrepreneur David Diallo.

The team produced a zero number for the Vision Summit , an international flagship conference for the area of CSR , in 2009 . Due to the positive response there, the five shareholders founded Social Publish Verlag and launched the first edition on March 18, 2010.

The magazine has since received awards, including the red dot design award 2010.

Frequency of publication

In 2010 and 2011 there were four issues each year. Since 2012 the number has increased to six issues. The magazine was relaunched in June 2016. The positioning of the magazine also changed.

The print version is printed on 100 percent recycled natural paper. An Apple and Android app has been available for tablet PC and smartphone users since issue 1/2012. The magazine has been providing news on its website since 2014.

The Social Publish Verlag in Hamburg is the publisher of the magazine. The editorial office is based in Berlin and Hamburg.
