Enough is enough. The newspaper for anti-racist and anti-fascist politics in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg was a quarterly anti-fascist magazine devoted to the extreme right and anti-fascist counter-activities, especially in the federal states named in the subtitle. She was a member of the “ Antifa-Net . International Antifascist Network for Research and Action ”.

Origin and content

The magazine was created in 1997 by amalgamating two regional Schleswig-Holstein anti- fascist newspapers, the Antifaschistische Zeitung Kiel (ATZE) and the Antifaschistische Zeitung (AZ) for Lübeck and the surrounding area - newspaper of the Lübeck Alliance against Racism . The background was the growing extreme right-wing scene in Schleswig-Holstein, which became particularly visible through neo-Nazi marches in Bad Segeberg and elsewhere, and through the arson attack on St. Vicelin's Church in Lübeck. The title is borrowed from a song by the British pop band Chumbawamba , which is particularly popular in the anti- fascist scene , and was also the central slogan of the British Labor Party for the 1997 House of Commons elections.

Enough is Enough served as a magazine for all of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg. With a regional focus, she reported on the ideology, organization and activities of the extreme right, racist and anti-Semitic developments, and presented counter-activities for a society free from social and legal discrimination. This also includes reports on the exercise of civil and general democratic rights. The target groups were primarily those interested in politics, students and scientists.

The editorial collective of Enough is Enough published the book White Noise in 2001 together with Searchlight Magazine , the antifascist information sheet and the "series of antifascist texts hamburg" (rat) from Unrast Verlag . Right-wing rock , skinhead music, Blood & Honor - insights into the international neo-Nazi music scene .

In 2006 a special edition of Enough is Enough was published for the football World Cup .

In the same year the magazine was discontinued after 25 issues.
