Enrico Hirschfeld (born January 9, 1987 in Leipzig ) is a German chef .

Career

After his training at the Marriott Hotel in Leipzig, Enrico Hirschfeld came to the Ritz-Carlton in Wolfsburg, the restaurant “Novalis” in Nörten-Hardenberg and “Becker's Hotel und Restaurant” in Trier as a sous chef at “La Société” in Cologne in 2014. After another position as Executive Sous Chef in the Cologne star restaurant “maiBeck”, he started in March 2017 with Maximilian Lorenz in “L'escalier”, Cologne .

Enrico Hirschfeld has been working as an equal chef alongside the eponymous owner of the restaurant "maximilian lorenz" since June 2018. Together they are both continuously developing their new German aromatic cuisine. In November of the same year, Lorenz and Hirschfeld were awarded 17 points and the title “Newcomers of the year in North Rhine-Westphalia” from Gault Millau , and in February 2019 the new restaurant received its first Michelin star .
