Enrico Syring
Enrico Syring (* 1960 in Göttingen ) is a German historian.
Life and activity
Syring studied history, geography , political science and education in Göttingen , Cologne and Bonn. He passed the 1st state examination in 1985 and the 2nd state examination in 1987.
1993 Syringgasse was with a thesis on the ideology of Adolf Hitler to Dr. phil. PhD. He then worked as a historian at the University of Giessen .
He was best known as the co-editor of a number of prosopographical anthologies from the Nazi era, in which he and his colleagues Ronald Smelser and Rainer Zitelmann put together essays contributed by various authors, each of which relates to the biography of individual important politicians or officials of the NSDAP and others National Socialist organizations (especially the Schutzstaffel ) as well as the Wehrmacht and the state apparatus of the Nazi era .
Syring was among other things a speaker for the Veldensteiner Kreis .
