Enrique Wernicke

Enrique Wernicke (born February 25, 1915 in Buenos Aires , † August 30, 1968 there ) was an Argentine journalist, puppeteer and writer.

Wernicke spent his childhood and adolescence on his parents' estancia . He earned his living in a wide variety of professions; For years he traveled the whole country as a puppeteer and later sold self-made toys as a peddler (including lead soldiers). For years he wrote mostly as a journalist for the newspapers " El Mundo " and " Crítica " and over time a noteworthy independent oeuvre also emerged.

Enrique Wernicke died at the age of 53 on August 30, 1968 in Buenos Aires, where he found his final resting place.
