Ensemble Delirio

The Ensemble Delirio is an Austrian chamber music ensemble.

history

The Ensemble Delirio in 2009 by David Drabek ( violin ), Pablo de Pedro ( Viola ), Philipp Comploi ( cello ) and Jeremy Joseph ( keyboards ) in Vienna founded and dedicated to chamber works of the Baroque , the Classical and the Romantic from the points the historical performance practice . The musicians play on original instruments.

The first CD with Scherzi , sonatas and cantatas by G. Ph.Telemann , based on two chamber music cycles by Telemann, was released in 2011 under the title A Week of Telemann on the classical label Capriccio. The second album, entitled Velvet , recorded in the Franziskanerkirche Vienna using the Wöckherl organ (1642), contains early Austrian organ and ensemble works from the 17th century.
