As waste management that is business division called whose activities the disposal is waste of various kinds.

While waste disposal primarily serves to dispose of household and hazardous waste and is usually regulated by the municipalities , private waste disposal companies are also involved in the reuse (recycling) of the raw materials contained in the waste . Due to the growing importance of sustainability, they make up an increasing proportion of the raw materials industry .

The processes and activities for the disposal or recovery of waste are very diverse. Most of them are subject to legal regulations regarding environmental protection ( emissions , generating noise and odors, etc.). The final storage of unusable waste in landfills is also strictly regulated ; Moving them abroad is already banned in many industrialized countries , but is often still part of the shadow economy .
