Enzo D'Alò
Enzo D'Alò (born September 7, 1953 in Naples ) is an Italian director of animated films .
Life
D'Alò went to Turin in 1979 and became part of the group and the film studio “La Lanterna Magica”, whose production company he founded in 1983. He mainly devoted himself to animation, but also made fictional shorts and educational films . From 1991 he worked on the series "Pimpa"; He achieved his breakthrough in 1996 with the movie The Blue Arrow , which has been regularly followed by other full-length works since then. An outstanding commercial success yielded it in 1998 resulting film La Gabbianella e il gatto , based on the book Zorba the small seagull taught how hangover flying from Luis Sepúlveda is based. His animated film adaptation of Pinocchio celebrated its German premiere at the 20th Stuttgart Animated Film Festival in 2013 .
