Epping (Essex)

Epping is a community of approximately 11,000 people in southwest Essex . It is located about 30 kilometers northeast of central London in the vicinity of the Epping Forest .
The (above-ground) stop of the Central Line, which is part of the London underground network, is also its terminus. The continuation of the line to Ongar was closed in 1994 due to lack of profitability and has been operated as a museum railway since 2004 .

A partnership with Eppingen in Baden-Württemberg has existed since 1981 .
