action

Curious mice make an apartment unsafe. One barely escapes a mousetrap , another accidentally plays a number of instruments before accidentally activating a gramophone . The device plays It's Got Me Again! and numerous mice appear and dance to the song.

They are watched through the window by a nasty cat who finally gains access to the house through the fireplace. She destroys the cuckoo clock when it snaps at the wooden bird and eventually cornered a single mouse. Desperately she sings It's Got Me Again! and begs her cronies for help. They finally use the instruments as weapons: they shoot drumsticks at the cat over taut strings and use the record arm to fire nails with it. The cat runs away and the mice triumph.
