Erasmus Marotta

Erasmus Marotta (* 1578 in Randazzo ; † October 6, 1641 in Palermo ) was an Italian Jesuit and composer .

Life

Erasmus Marotta stayed for a long time in Rome at the papal court. In 1612 he entered the Society of Jesus . He was rector of the Jesuit college in Mineo .
