Erasmus Zettel , also Asmus Zettl, Zött (e) l , known as Pausch (d. J.) (* around 1560 in Neudek ; buried December 14, 1614 there ), was a citizen and mountain master , administrator and captain of Neudek

Life

Erasmus note d. J. was possibly the son of the mountain master Erasmus Zöttel the Elder. Ä. from his first marriage to Ursula. The family has always been known as " Pausch" . As early as 1593 he was listed in the registers as a citizen and mountain master. In addition, he was referred to as a mountain master and administrator from 1600. When Count Stephan Schlik sold Neudek to Friedrich Colonna , Baron von Fels in 1602 , he took over the function of the lordly captain and was thus the highest head of office. He remained in this position until his death in 1614. Pastor Valentin Löwe gave the funeral sermon for him . His brother Georg Zettel was also a captain. His nephew was the Czernin chief of Petersburg Peter Zettel.
