Erbacher Steinmorgen

The single layer Steinmorgen extends up to half the height of the mountain - in the foreground in the flat part of the vineyard, the development of leaves has been thrown back by the frost damage in 2011.

The Erbacher Steinmorgen is a vineyard in the Erbach community in the Rheingau wine-growing region .

Vineyard

The 32 hectare single site, partly on a slight south-facing slope and partly flat, connects to the northeast of Erbach. It borders on the Erbacher Hohenrain location in the west and the Kiedricher Sandgrub location in the north and east . The soil consists of gravelly loam. The site is mostly planted with Riesling . The Erbacher Steinmorgen is a first location of the VDP and approved for large plants of the VDP .
