Erbstorf ( Low German Arvstbod ) is a district of the municipality of Adendorf in Lower Saxony .

The place is two kilometers east of Adendorf on the Lüneburg – Bleckede railway line , west of the Elbe Lateral Canal .

history

The Elbe Lateral Canal ruptured in 1976

The first written mention of the place goes back to the year 1251. For the year 1848 it is stated that Erbstorf had 23 residential buildings in which 159 residents lived. At the time the place was parish after Lüne , the school was in the place. On December 1, 1910, Erbstorf had 359 inhabitants in the Lüneburg district . After the Second World War, a new settlement was built on the Ebensberg. On March 1, 1974 Erbstorf to Adendorf and the settlement was Ebenberg to Lüneburg incorporated. 1976 was 500 meters south of the place ( 53 ° 15 '40.2 "  N , 10 ° 29' 7.1"  O ) to a dam failure of the same-side channel so that Erbstorf was flooded.
