Erdmut Wizisla
Erdmut Wizisla (born June 19, 1958 in Leipzig ) is a German literary scholar.
Wizisla studied German in Berlin and received his doctorate in 1994 with a thesis on Walter Benjamin and Bertolt Brecht . He has headed the Bertolt Brecht Archive since 1993 and the Walter Benjamin Archive at the Berlin Academy of the Arts since 2004 . Since May 2013 he has been an honorary professor at the Philosophical Faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin . He is also a member of the PEN Center Germany and the Board of Trustees of the Kurt Wolff Foundation .
