This was followed by three runners-up championships in Berlin in 1966, 1967 and 1968 and the unsuccessful attempts two and three - 1967 and 1968 - in the Bundesliga promotion round. With teammates such as Bernd Gersdorff , Georg Damjanoff , Horst Lunenburg , Lutz Steinert , Michael Krampitz and Gerd Wörmer , he played another seven rounds of promotion against opponents Kickers Offenbach, Bayer Leverkusen, TuS Neuendorf and Arminia Hannover in 1968.

In his last regional league year for Tennis Borussia, 1968/69, Foit completed 15 league games in which he scored three goals when he reached third rank. Overall, the striker was listed with 111 regional league appearances at Tennis Borussia with 29 goals from 1963 to 1969. He joined Rapide Wedding for the 1969/70 round.
