Michael Krampitz (born September 17, 1942 ) is a former German soccer player who has played 25 games with 16 goals in four rounds of promotion to the Bundesliga (1966, 1967, 1968, 1970) for the Berlin clubs Hertha BSC , Tennis Borussia and Hertha Zehlendorf .

career

City League and Regionalliga Berlin, 1960 to 1964

The 18-year-old young striker Michael Krampitz made his debut on November 20, 1960 in the 0-1 home defeat for Hertha Zehlendorf's team against BFC Südring in the Berlin City League . With the team from the Ernst-Reuter-Sportfeld he could not occupy any top positions in the table in the next few rounds. Personally, the offensive talent came to 52 missions with 28 goals by 1963. After the first year Regionalliga Berlin , Hertha Zehlendorf finished sixth in 1963/64 and Krampitz scored 15 goals in 24 games, got a contract with Hertha BSC for the 1964/65 round and moved to the Bundesliga.

Hertha BSC, 1964 to 1967

Bundesliga 1964/65

For the Bundesliga round 1964/65 Hertha brought in the newcomers Wolfgang Fahrian , Jürgen Sundermann , Willibert Kremer and Kurt Schulz further reinforcements for the defense, the midfield and the attack. The man from Zehlendorf made his first appearance on September 12, 1964 at the home game against Borussia Dortmund . He formed the left wing together with Willibert Kremer in the 0-0 draw. On his second assignment, he entered the Bundesliga scorers list for the first time. Krampitz brought Hertha 1-0 lead in the 60th minute at Werder Bremen on November 7, 1964, but coach Willi Multhaup's team won the game with 5-1 goals. The trainers Jupp Schneider (until March 8, 1965) and Gerhard Schulte (from March 9) mainly relied on Carl-Heinz Rühl , Helmut Faeder , Kurt Schulz and Willibert Kremer in the attack and also brought Michael Krampitz or Lutz Steinert into action. In total, the ex-Zehlendorfer completed 15 Bundesliga games and scored eight goals. That made him Hertha BSC's best goalscorer of the season. Regionalliga Berlin, 1965 to 1967

Hertha BSC won the Berlin championship in 1966 and 1967. Krampitz took the top scorer's crown in the second round with 26 goals. In the two Bundesliga promotion rounds, he made ten games and eight goals. It was not enough for Hertha to rise. He contributed four goals to the Berlin Cup success on November 23, 1966 with 6: 3 goals after extra time against Tennis Borussia.

Tennis Borussia and Hertha Zehlendorf, 1967 to 1974

From 1967 to 1969 he played two rounds with the "Veilchen" of Tennis Borussia Berlin. Krampitz moved into the promotion round for the third time in a row, as he was able to win the runner-up with TeBe in 1968.

With his home club Hertha Zehlendorf he won the championship in 1970 and was also able to convince in the promotion round with the successes against Kickers Offenbach and VfL Bochum . After the 1973/74 round, Michael Krampitz ended his high-class playing career with a total of 186 games in the Regionalliga and 103 goals.
