Erhard Scherfer

Erhard Scherfer (born April 19, 1960 in Lünen ) is a German television presenter and editor.

Life

From 1982 to 1988 Scherfer studied journalism, English and political science at the University of Münster , where he graduated with a communicator study on journalists in private radio. From 1988 to 1992 he was initially a trainee and later an editor at the Westfälische Rundschau in Dortmund. From 1992 to 1994 Scherfer was an editor in the newsroom at the TV station VOX , and from 1994/1995 an author and freelancer at WDR . As head of duty in the production companies "Non Fiction" and "Filmpool", he worked for the television programs "Exakt" (VOX), "Thilo, News and Topics" (ProSieben) and "Jetzt geht's" (Sat.1). In 1998 Scherfer first became an editor and reporter at the television station Phoenix , later also a presenter and deputy editor-in-chief there. Since January 2011 he has been working as a Phoenix correspondent in the ARD capital studio.

Scherfer has a daughter and lives in Berlin.
