Erhard Schipporeit

Erhard Schipporeit (born January 19, 1949 in Bitterfeld ) is a German manager .

Life

Schipporeit graduated from high school in Celle in 1967 and then did his military service with the Federal Border Guard. From 1969 to 1973 he studied business administration at the University of Göttingen . In 1979 he received his doctorate there. At first he worked as a controller at Blaupunkt -Werke GmbH. In 1990 he was appointed to the board of Varta AG. He worked there until September 30, 1997. After working at VIAG AG, he was CFO of E.ON AG from 2000 to 2006 , his successor being Marcus Schenck .

From 2007 to 2010 he worked as a Senior Adviser for BNP Paribas .

Schipporeit is currently a member of the supervisory boards of the DAX companies RWE AG, SAP AG and Deutsche Börse AG, until October 2019 in the MDAX company innogy SE, at Hannover Rückversicherung AG, Fuchs Petrolub AG, and Talanx AG, as well as the BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft . He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of innogy SE since January 1, 2018. He resigned from this mandate at the beginning of October 2019 after the majority of the shares had passed from RWE to E.ON.

Private

Schipporeit was with the teacher Gabriele, geb. John († 2003) and has been with the managing director Kirsten, geb. Petermann, married. He has two daughters and one son.
