Eric Beißwenger

Eric Beißwenger (born July 26, 1972 in Edingen ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ).

Career

On September 15, 2013, Eric Beißwenger made the leap into the Bavarian state parliament via the list in the Schwaben constituency . In the Maximilianeum in Munich, the trained banker and farmer from the Bad Hindelang district of Unterjoch (Oberallgäu district) is a member of the "Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forests" and the "Committee on Environment and Consumer Protection". In addition, Eric Beißwenger is a member of the “Working Group for Tourism” and the “Small and Medium-Sized Business Parliament”. On March 16, 2014, Eric Beißwenger was elected to the Oberallgäu district council.

In the state elections in 2018 , as a direct candidate of the CSU, he won the constituency of Lindau, Sonthofen with 35.8% and thus moved back into the Bavarian state parliament. There he is only a member of the “Committee on Environment and Agriculture” and its deputy chairman.

Beißwenger is Protestant, married and has two children.
