Eric Ermine
Eric Alex Hermelin (born June 22, 1860 in Svanshals , Sweden , † November 8, 1944 in Lund ) was a Swedish translator and author . He is famous for his translations of Persian poetry by well-known Sufis ( Islamic mystics ).
Eric Hermelin spent the years from 1909 until his death in 1944 at St Lars - Hospital in Lund , where he, among other works of Attar of Nishapur , Jalal ad-Din Rumi , Jakob Bohme , Omar Khayyam , Saadi and Hakim Sanaie translated.
