Eric IQ Gray (* 1966 in Trenton , New Jersey ) is an American rapper and music producer .

biography

As a music producer and artist, Eric IQ Gray has released over 30 albums and singles. Eric IQ Gray was anchored in hip-hop in New Jersey from the start, first as a graffiti artist, then as a rap artist and producer. In 1983 he was a member of the Mighty MCs with the two founding members of the Ghetto Boys, DJ Reddy Red and Johnny C. In 1988 he founded the label Northside Production $, on which the Poor Righteous Teachers' first single, Time to Say Peace - Butt Naked Booty in 1989 Bless appeared.

In December 1989 he came to Hamburg for the first time because of his girlfriend at the time. He experienced the success of the album of the Poor Righteous Teachers - Holy Intellect on Profile Records, some of which he produced, from afar in Hamburg. In Hamburg he had meanwhile made a name for himself through productions in the Boogie Park Studios. 1990 the first single of the project Got 2 Be Freedom appeared on Control Records / Edel Records.
