Eric Powell (born March 3, 1975 ) is an American comic artist. He gained fame through the creation of the series " The Goon ".

Due to the mixture of horror, humor, seriousness and self-irony in "The Goon", he was awarded the Eisner Award in 2004 in the category "Best Single Issue" and a year later in the categories "Best Humor Publication" and "Best Continuing" Series "excellent.
