Eric Stefani
Eric Matthew Stefani (born June 17, 1967 in Fullerton , California ) is an American pop musician , composer and animator .
Stefani founded the band No Doubt together with John Spence in 1986 , in which his sister Gwen Stefani first became a background singer and has been the lead singer since 1988. In 1998, he was nominated for a Grammy in the Song of the Year category for the song Don't Speak , which he wrote with her . In 1994/95 he left the band because he was no longer satisfied with the musical path they had taken.
In the following years he worked as an illustrator for the television series The Simpsons . In parallel, several albums were created as a solo artist.
