Erich Bulitta

Erich Bulitta (* 1945 ) is a German non-fiction author and teacher.

Life

Erich Bulitta, son of Josef Bulitta , studied education with a focus on German, philosophy and psychology and then worked as a teacher. Together with his wife Hildegard Bulitta , he published dictionaries, textbooks, school books and travel guides. Both work as linguists. The dictionary of synonyms and antonyms and the large dictionary of synonyms are known . Several publications by the couple on the subject of peace education , culture of remembrance and commemoration were published by the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge in the series Pedagogical Handouts and in their series on culture of remembrance and commemoration. In 2017 the two-volume basic work steps towards a culture of remembrance and commemoration was published, Volume I: Basics of a Memory - Analysis, Volume II: and From Memory to a Culture of Remembrance and Commemoration - Analysis . In 2019, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier awarded the couple Hildegard and Erich Bulitta the Federal Cross of Merit on the ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for their decades of honorary work in peace work in the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge and for the common good.
