Erich Kröhan

Erich Kröhan (born November 30, 1924 in Berlin ; † August 23, 2014 ) was a German politician and former member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament of the SPD .

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a machinist and worked in this profession until 1961. From 1961 to 1975 Kröhan was a technical employee in the bridge and civil engineering division.

He joined the SPD in 1947. He was active in numerous bodies of the party, so he was z. B. from 1965 to 1969 deputy chairman of the sub-district board and from 1970 to 1974 member of the district board. He was a member of the Public Services, Transport and Traffic Union .

From July 24, 1966 to May 30, 1990, Kröhan was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituencies 071 Mülheim II and 073 Mülheim I.

He was a member of the city council of Mülheim an der Ruhr from 1956 to 1971.
