Erich Lingens (born October 10, 1878 in Aachen , † October 11, 1947 there ) was a German politician ( center ).

Life

Lingens worked as a businessman in Aachen. He joined the center in 1919, was chairman of the Aachen Center Party from 1920 to 1933 and was a member of the Aachen city ​​council . In 1932 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he was a member until 1933. In 1944 he was imprisoned by the National Socialists . After the Second World War , he joined the CDU .
