Erich Polmar

Erich Polmar was a German competitive gymnast .

life and career

Polmar did gymnastics for the Hohenstein-Ernstthal Gymnastics Association .

At times he was a member of the German national team and achieved numerous top positions at the German championships. At the German Gymnastics Championships in 1931 in Essen's Grugahalle, he achieved second place overall. He was one of the well-known gymnasts who took part in the "Beauty Commercial Gymnastics " in the Altenburg State Theater on May 2, 1932, under the auspices of the Altenburg Gymnastics Club. At the German Championships in 1934 in the Dortmund Westfalenhalle, he was seventh.

On March 31, 1935 he did gymnastics in the German national team at the Reichsheer-Deutsche Turnerschaft on the part of the German Gymnastics Association and was able to achieve eighth place.

On April 28, 1935, he was part of the German team in the packed with 10,000 spectators Centennial Hall in Wroclaw in the international match won against Hungary.

He also did gymnastics in city and juggling fights.
