Erich Röper (lawyer)

Erich Röper (* 1939 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer.

Life

After high school in 1958 at the Wilhelm-Gymnasium (Hamburg) the son acquired Erich Richard Hubert Röpers 1962, the first legal state examination in Würzburg and 1967 the promotion to Dr. iur. utr. at the University of Würzburg . From 1967 to 1971 he was a consultant for socio-political development aid measures at the Institute for International Solidarity of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation . From 1971 to 1976 he was an advisor to the CDU parliamentary group of the Bremen citizenship for the areas of justice, home affairs, social politics, culture, science and education. From 1976 to 1997 he was managing director of the CDU parliamentary group of the Bremen citizenship. From 1997 to 2006 he was a research fellow at the Center for European Legal Policy at the University of Bremen . In 1999 he was appointed honorary professor at the University of Münster .
