Erich Slupetzky

Erich Slupetzky (* August 1922 in Linz ; † November 1994 there ) was an Austrian entrepreneur and FPÖ politician.

Life and politics

Anton Slupetzky's eldest son was the leader of the Linz Hitler Youth during the German Reich . After the collapse of the Third Reich , he was arrested with 80 other people as part of the Soucek-Rössner conspiracy , the first prominent case of National Socialist re-activation in Austria after the Second World War , and taken to the Graz prison.

In 1952, Slupetzky founded a wholesale company for trading and selling chemical raw materials. He was awarded the title of Komm.-Rat for his professional activity .

From 1960 to 1973 he was chairman of the Linz 1862 gymnastics club , from 1962 to 1973 he was deputy chairman of the Linz general gymnastics club and from 1973 to 1977 first deputy chairman of the ÖTB . Finally, in 1978, Slupetzky was appointed federal chairman of the ÖTB. In his chairmanship, which lasted until 1983, the spelling of the Bundesturnzeitung was determined by the Vienna Regional Court to be neo-fascist .

Furthermore, Slupetzky was an advertiser in the messages of the Glasenbacher welfare association . In 1986 he supported Otto Scrinzi's candidacy for the election of the Federal President. In October 1991 he ran for the FPÖ in the Linz municipal council election .
