Erich Windt
Erich Windt (born November 4, 1912 in Halle (Saale) , † November 19, 1941 in Vysokinichi near Serpuchow ) was a German type artist and graphic artist.
Life
He initially worked as a technical draftsman in the Halle (Saale) electricity works and attended evening courses at the state-municipal arts and crafts school Burg Giebichenstein (today: Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle ). From autumn 1932 he was a master student of Herbert Post in the printer's workshop. In 1939 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht and died in the second year of the war.
