Erich Woytek
Erich Woytek (born November 7, 1942 in Vienna ) is an Austrian classical philologist .
Life
He studied Classical Philology at the University of Vienna, where he received his doctorate in 1969 and his habilitation in 1978. From 1983 until his retirement in 2008 he was a professor ( official title until 1997: Associate University Professor , since 1997: University Professor ) at the Institute for Classical Philology, Middle and New Latin at the University of Vienna .
