Erich von Hofe

Erich von Hofe (born March 29, 1956 in Soltau ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life

Von Hofe grew up on a farm in the Lüneburg Heath . He attended elementary school in Woltem and Dorfmark before starting his apprenticeship as a high-voltage electrician at Wolff Walsrode AG in Bomlitz in 1972 . After successfully completing his vocational training, he began attending the vocational school in Walsrode between 1975 and 1976 and completed it with the technical college entrance qualification. Between 1977 and 1979 he attended the Oldenburg College and did his Abitur here. He then started his studies for secondary school teaching in the subjects of work theory / politics at the University of Bremen . He worked as a trainee teacher at the comprehensive school in Bremen. He teaches at the Integrated Comprehensive School Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

From 1973 to 1977 he worked as a youth group leader of the Protestant youth group in Dorfmark and the film club in Fallingbostel . He is active in the working group for rural agriculture / agricultural opposition and in NABU . Erich von Hofe is married and has two children. He lives in Fischerhude .

In 1980 he became a member of the Green Party .

Von Hofe was elected a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the tenth electoral period from June 5, 1985 to June 20, 1986. He was re-elected in the twelfth and thirteenth electoral terms from 1990 to 1998. From 1990 to 1994 he was chairman of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry. He has been a member of the Verden district council since 1998.
