Erik Wemple

Erik Wemple (born August 18, 1964 in Schenectady ) is an American journalist and media critic . He writes u. a. for the Washington Post . The focus of his work is critical reporting on the form and content of US news channels.

Life

Erik Wemple grew up in Niskayuna , New York , attended Hamilton College and received a BA in Governance and a Masters in Foreign Studies from Georgetown University .

Wemple first covered US export controls as a political journalist, with a focus on the work of the Department of Commerce. He later worked for the alternative city ​​magazine Washington City Paper .
