Erika Birgit Greif

Erika Birgit Greif (* 1964 in Düren ) is a certified nursing expert and specialist book author. It carries out educational work with a focus on the need for care , care levels and care levels . She became known to the general public through her TV appearances.

Life

Greif comes from a large family. Her late father was a nurse , her mother a secretary. Erika Birgit Greif grew up in Düren / Rhineland . She lived in Berlin from 1997 to 2001 . Afterwards she returned to her hometown Düren. She is divorced and has one grown daughter and one grown son.

Career

After completing the ninth grade of secondary school Lendersdorf in Düren, she attended the Hauswirtschaftsschule Arnoldsweiler with completion of middle maturity . She then completed a voluntary social year in the St. Nikolaus retirement home , Düren. She began her nursing training in 1984, which she completed in 1987 with a nursing exam. Until 2008 she worked as a nurse in the LVR clinic Düren in the departments of gerontology , addiction station for motivated and resilient patients with alcohol and pill addiction, therapy station for addictions and forensic psychiatry men as well as in the city hospital Düren in surgery, in the departments of throat Nose and ears as well as eyes.

Since then, she has acted as an independent nursing expert, nursing advisor and freelance lecturer for nursing assistance.

Birgit Greif published specialist books on the subject of care from 2011.
