Erika Vötzsch (* 1. May 1938 in Leipzig as Erika Rough ) is a former German javelin thrower .

biography

Erika Vötzsch took part in the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne . In the javelin throw she reached 10th place. Shortly before, it had set a new world record with a width of 50.75 meters. Her daughter Beate Vötzsch was a high jumper.
