Erin Gruwell
Erin Gruwell (born August 15, 1969 in California ) is an American teacher and author.
Live and act
Her work at Wilson Classical High School in Long Beach, California, and her book release inspired the film Freedom Writers , starring Hilary Swank as Gruwell.
In 2000, Erin Gruwell ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the United States Congress .
