Erlenbach is a residential area near Igersheim in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .
geography
The Erlenbach residential area is located in the Erlenbach valley of the same name between Igersheim and Bad Mergentheim .
history
In 1880 a Scot who lived in Mergentheim built a property in the English country house style on site. This subsequently changed hands several times. In 1952, the Sonnenberg sanatorium was built on the residential area and has served as a spa pension for religious sisters since 1962 .
