Holzbronn is a hamlet near Igersheim in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

history

The place was in the 14./15. Century owned by Mertin von Mergentheim, who sold it to the Teutonic Order . Holzbronn once belonged to the Deubach court or to Balbach in the Lauda-Königshofen administrative area. Holzbronn was initially assigned to the old community of Harthausen from 1812 . Since 1823 the place belongs to the municipality of Igersheim.
