Erlend Hoff (born August 22, 1978 ) is a former Norwegian cross-country skier .

Career

Hoff, who started for the Medkila Skilag , ran his first race in the Continental Cup in Nybygda in January 2000 . There he took 53rd place over 10 km classic. In the 2007/08 season he achieved his first top ten placements in the Scandinavian Cup with two ninth places and third place over 15 km in classic Vuokatti . He finished 14th in the overall ranking. He completed his first of a total of three World Cup races in March 2008 in Oslo . He came in 18th place over 50 km freestyle and got his first World Cup points. In the following year he again won World Cup points with 19th place in the 50 km mass start race in Trondheim . At the Norwegian Championships in 2009 he was third over 50 km freestyle. He ran his last World Cup race in November 2009 in Beitostølen , which he finished in 74th place over 15 km freestyle.
