The Erlensee , also called Loaner See or (more rarely) Lainer See , is a 252 × 104 m large moor bathing lake not far from Buchbach , in the municipality of Taufkirchen .

The lake, located between the towns of Felizensell (near Buchbach), Loiperstätt (near Grüntegernbach ) and Gebensbach (near Velden ), is the only swimming lake within a 15 km radius. It belongs to the farmer Georg Heider, who runs a large campsite next to his Lain farm on the lake . The Loaner inn is in part of the courtyard building (2nd quarter of the 19th century) .
The main access to the lake is via the detour that branches off from the Herrneck (north of Felicia) -Gebensbach road, other approaches (such as from Loiperstätt) are only possible on gravel roads.

The bakery and blacksmith's house (probably 18th century), with its neat tail gable, is a listed building.

There has been a DLRG guard hut at Erlensee since 2002 .
