Ermanno Cavazzoni

Ermanno Cavazzoni (* 1947 in Reggio nell'Emilia ) is an Italian writer , translator , radio play and screenwriter .

life and work

Ermanno Cavazzoni is professor of aesthetics at the University of Bologna , where he also lives. Together with Gianni Celati and Walter Pedullà, he publishes the magazine Il caffè illustrato .

Cavazzoni is a member of Oplepo (acronym from “ Op ificio di Le tteratura Po tenziale” = workshop for potential literature), a group of authors who experimented with the Italian language, inspired by Oulipo .

His novel Song of the Moon Heads (Italian: Poema dei lunatici ) inspired Federico Fellini for his film The Voice of the Moon (original title: La voce della luna ).
