Ernő Lendvai

Ernő Lendvai (* 1925 ; † 1993 ) was a Hungarian musicologist .

Life

Lendvai was married to the pianist Erzsébet Tusa . In 1949 they moved to Szombathely and ran a music school. He mainly dealt with the golden ratio and also formulated writings on the axis system, the acoustic scale and the alpha chord .
