Erzsébet Tusa

Erzsébet Tusa (born January 5, 1928 in Budapest ; † August 24, 2017 there ) was a Hungarian pianist . She was married to Ernő Lendvai (1925–1993), a Hungarian musicologist . They moved to Szombathely in 1949 . There they ran a music school.

Erzsébet Tusa has recorded piano works by Béla Bartók , Franz Liszt and Claude Debussy . These have been published by Hungaroton .

She died after a long illness at home in Budapest on August 24, 2017.
