Erna Herchenröder

Erna Herchenröder (born March 6, 1903 in Harpen ; † September 3, 1977 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and business school , she worked as an accountant and from 1923 to 1928 as an administrative assistant at the Bochum city ​​administration . She then worked as a housewife and temporarily managing director. In 1921 Herchenröder became a member of the SPD. She was represented in various bodies of the SPD.

From October 23, 1953 to July 12, 1958, Herchenröder was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She moved up in the second electoral term on her party's reserve list and was directly elected in the third electoral term in constituency 103 Bochum-Nordost.

From 1946 she was a member of the city ​​council of Bochum.
